Conforming BFCs and Enhanced Performance/Performance Plus Masks

These products were not evaluated by NIOSH. These products are not equivalent to NIOSH-approved respirators, cannot be used as a substitute for NIOSH-approved respirators, and the manufacturer-reported data should not be used to make comparisons to NIOSH-approved respirators. The supplier/manufacturer declared conformance to ASTM F3502 based on its own testing and evaluations and testing by accredited third-party laboratories. To be listed on this page, the supplier/manufacturer provided NIOSH with its quantitative test results only for the purpose of demonstrating that data was obtained prior to the supplier/manufacturer making the claim of conformance. 1 Quantitative leakage testing is optional for ASTM F3502. Leakage is reported as a ratio of the particle concentration outside the face covering over particle concentration inside the face covering. Higher leakage ratios indicate less leakage.
