• Determine if your organization has a written workplace violence prevention policy. If so, locate a copy and read through it. (To find out if your organization has a workplace violence prevention program, ask your direct supervisor, Human Resources Department, or union representative.)
• Compare your organization's policy to the OSHA guidelines. Does it address the five primary elements outlined in this unit? How do they differ?
