NEISS-Work cases are captured without regard to worker age. These data contain numerous injuries incurred by very young as well as very old workers. Checking this box excludes all youth less than 15 years of age. Thus, the estimated number of injuries/illnesses will match the same age range (≥ 15 years of age) as available for rate estimates.
