This historic 1958 image depicted the front end interior of a mobile trailer clinic, which was fully equipped with electric sterilizers, refrigerators, treatment table and a an office desk. In this particular view, a clinician was treating what appears to be the left arm of a clinic visitor. Vehicles like this, are still used today in order to bring medical care to those who are either unable to travel to a local medical facility, or find it more convenient to use this type of facility rather than make the trip.
