This photograph depicts a number of freshly-cut white potatoes contained in a stainless steel cooking pot, to which was being added some fresh tap water. These potatoes had been prepared in this woman’s clean food preparation area at her kitchen sink (see PHIL 13581). It is very important to prepare foods in as clean environment as possible, thereby, minimizing the possibility of introducing foodborne contaminants into the food preparation process.
