Kearsarge, by Mass Communication Specialist, 3rd Class, Christopher Lange, and depicts U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS), CAPT José Belardo, pinning on new collar devices during CDR Gregory Langham’s, USPHS, promotion ceremony. The U.S.S. Kearsarge (LHD 3) was deployed in order to support the Caribbean phase of operation Continuing Promise (CP) 2008, which was an equal partnership mission between the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
