Captured in a clinical setting, this image depicts the genitalia of a male patient, who had been fitted with a condom catheter, which he had worn for an extended period of time. Note that the patient had developed what was determined to be a pressure ulcer on the penile shaft (arrow), which is a possible problem that can arise under these circumstances when proper hygienic care is not implemented, as is required with condom catheter usage.
