Caption:
Kneeling, this field technician was in the process of administering an immunization vaccine in an unknown village in El Salvador, to a young boy with a large number of inhabitants looking on. The technician was using a jet injector called a Ped-O-Jet®. This version of the Ped-O-Jet® used clamps to secure the vaccine bottle, which kept the bottle from working loose during operations. The subsequent model seen in PHIL 2391, used a strap to hold the bottle in place.
