Created in June 1976, this photograph depicts a conference held at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), entitled Smoking and Health. The featured speakers, left to right, included former Assistant Director of Statistical Research at the American Cancer Society, Dr. Daniel Horn, former Technical Monitor of the 1975 survey, Division of Cancer Control and Rehabilitation, National Cancer Institute, Dr. Dorothy E. Green, and CDC Director at the time, and Assistant Surgeon General, Dr. David Sencer.
