You can see some of the many reference texts available to Library visitors. The CDC collections span the field of public health. Print and electronic resources include topics in the realm of disease prevention, epidemiology, infectious diseases, global health, chronic diseases, environmental health, injury prevention, and occupational safety and health. The main library is developing a small, but growing Landmarks in Public Health collection, including items of significance to the history of public health. The Pittsburgh library houses an extensive historic collection on mining and mining safety.
