This image was captured somewhere in Bangladesh, officially the People's Republic of Bangladesh, during a cholera research expedition, which also included a study into the nutritional standards of the area, and the completion of a survey. In this particular view, a ferry-barge was in the process of transporting a number of Bangladeshi townsfolk, and a Jeep, across a river. This is one in a series of photographs depicting daily activities in which inhabitants of this region partake.
