Taken in 1973, during a time when smallpox had yet to be eradicated, this image depicts some of the paperwork involved in the traveler quarantine procedures, and to help in training personnel stationed at U.S. airports in the event of a smallpox emergency. The documents included here were a U.S. Passport, a U.S. Customs Declaration form, and an International Certificate of Vaccination.
