Entitled, “Reducing Sodium: From Menu to Mouth”, this is one of a series of informative infographics created in 2014, by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in order to disseminate information to consumers about the high levels of sodium contained in fast food, or sit-down restaurants, as compared to home-cooked meals. The graphic also provides ways in which consumers can reduce their sodium intake, and lists some of the more commonly ordered restaurant prepared foods and their respective sodium content.
