Caption:
This patient appeared at a clinical setting, exhibiting a round lesion on his glans penis that was diagnosed as a nevoxanthoendothelioma. Usually occurring in childhood, where they’re referred to as juvenile xanthogranuloma, these are benign, and usually asymptomatic, fibrotic lesions, infiltrated by histiocytes, and Touton giant cells, which are large, lipid laden, multinucleated histiocytes. These lesions usually resolve spontaneously over time, within a period of 3-6 years, though in this case, persisted into adulthood.
