This image was captured in December 2014, and depicted Brazilian Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) resident, Igor Ribeiro, seated at the far left, as he was interviewing a seated patient with signs and symptoms of West Nile virus (WNV) disease, in Picos, Piauí, inside the country of Brazil. A standing municipal laboratory technician was collecting a blood sample from the interviewee. In this particular view, Igor was making notations on the interview questionnaire.
