Photographed in 2011, this image depicted Iraqi Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) resident, Dr. Yasir Younis Majeed, as he was in the process of conducting interviews of both hepatitis A cases, and controls, during a hepatitis A outbreak in Ninawa, Iraq. In this particular view, while in his office with an associate, Dr. Majeed was speaking with two young school-age girls about hepatitis A signs, symptoms, and the do’s and don’ts one must practice, in order to avoid contracting this viral infection.
