The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), through the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), helps to train healthcare workers in developing countries, in order to support high quality, sustainable HIV/AIDS services, considered essential for achieving a worldwide AIDS-free generation.
