This posterior view of the torso and thighs of this Nigerian man, revealed numerous cutaneous lesions, which were determined to be due to a chronic onchocerciasis infection, caused by the microfilarial parasite, Onchocerca volvulus. See PHIL 20281, for an anterior view of this patient’s condition.
