After having been excised; this tissue specimen; which as evidenced by the included ruler; measured approximately 8cm; represented what was determined to be a mixed salivary tumor; also referred to as a pleomorphic adenoma. See PHIL 20312, for a view of the patient’s oral cavity with this tumorous growth in place prior to its excision, and 20267 for another full color view of this specimen.
