Under a magnification of 500X, this photomicrograph of a specimen prepared using the press preparation method, revealed the tiny hooklets within a coenurus, of the larval stage of a tapeworm. Coenurosis is an infection by tapeworms, either Taenia multiceps, or T. serialis.
