This photograph, captured in 1960, depicted an aerial view of what was termed the Saint Vrain, Colorado study area, which consisted of this farm, and its surrounding land. At the time, this land was part of an epidemiologic investigation, which was managed out of the Public Health Service’s (PHS), Communicable Disease Center (CDC), Greeley Field Station, located in Greeley, Colorado.
