This elderly woman was admitted to a clinical setting with a swelling of her right parotid salivary gland, which was diagnosed as a case of staphylococcal parotitis. From this anterior view of her face, you could see the facial asymmetry due to the enlargement in the region of right cheek. See PHIL 1265 for a right lateral view of this patient’s condition.
