This photomicrograph of a section of brain tissue, revealed the hemorrhage of a blood vessel. Note how the erythrocytes, or red blood cells (RBC), had leaked out of the luminal confines of the vessel, and into the surrounding brain neuropil. There was no reason give,n as to what caused the damaged vessel.
