Under a magnification of 500X, this photomicrograph revealed some of the histopathology associated with a liver biopsy tissue specimen in a case of hepatitis. The degree of liver cytoarchitectural derangement, designated this scenario as end-staged liver degeneration. The etiology of the hepatitis was not noted.
