This anterior–posterior (AP) chest radiograph shows findings in a patient with coccidioidomycosis. There is consolidation in the right lung, consistent with lobar involvement, and a chronic inflammatory nodule (granuloma) in the right middle lobe (RML). Coccidioidomycosis is caused by fungi of the genus Coccidioides.
