Viewed from the front, this image shows a Petri dish culture plate containing Sabouraud dextrose agar inoculated with the fungal organism Paracoccidioides brasiliensis (formerly Blastomyces brasiliensis). The colony is small, with a leathery, glabrous surface and overall white coloration.
