This photograph depicts a close right anterior-oblique view of the face of a 5-year-old patient diagnosed with dermatomyositis (DM). Visible is characteristic facial erythema involving the cheeks and periorbital regions, along with early desquamation affecting the cheeks and nasal bridge.
