Under higher magnification than that shown in PHIL 24639, this photomicrograph reveals the morphology of an unidentified fungal organism isolated from a brain abscess in a turkey poult and grown in slide culture. Shown are septate hyphal filaments bearing flask-shaped conidiogenous cells arising perpendicularly, each producing one or two paddle-shaped, septate conidia.
