At lower magnification than shown in PHIL 24758 and 24759, this photomicrograph reveals histopathologic features of a tissue section from a patient with rhinosporidiosis caused by Rhinosporidium seeberi. Note the numerous spheroid sporangia in various stages of maturation, as well as a chronic inflammatory cell infiltrate.
