This image depicts a close view of a slide coagulase test, also known as a slide clumping test, performed as part of a Staphylococcus serology analysis. In this test, a sample of Staphylococcus sp. bacteria was mixed with a small amount of plasma, producing visible clumping, or coagulation, evidenced by the presence of tiny bacterial aggregates within the fluid drop on the slide. This represents a positive test result.
