This photograph shows a frontal view of a Petri dish culture plate containing multiple Nocardia dentocariosus bacterial colonies, designated strain X-529. The plate, prepared with blood heart infusion (BHI) agar and incubated for 7 days, produced a large rough-type colony surrounded by five smooth-type colonies, two of which have coalesced.
