This 1964 image depicts a bat capture cage placed inside the Frio Bat Cave, north of Uvalde, Texas, in Uvalde County, where it was used to capture cave-dwelling bats during a Rabies Control Program study. Designated as a Group-3 type cage, it was enclosed with 1/8-inch plastic mesh.
