This photograph depicted an October 28, 1962, left lateral chest x-ray of a patient who was diagnosed with a case of coccidioidomycosis, due to the fungal organism, Coccidioides immitis. This x-ray, which was captured after those films depicted in PHIL 24389 and 24390. The C. immitis infection had been acquired in East Point, Georgia, through the patient’s handling of contaminated fomites.
