Under a magnification of 630X, this was a photomicrograph of a brain tissue specimen that had been processed using fluorescent antibody (FA) staining for an immunofluorescent test to check for the presence of Naegleria fowleri protozoa, in this case of primary amebic meningoencephalitis (PAM).
