Sencer, MD, MPH, presenting a Certificate of Completion to a High School Scientific Training and Enrichment Program (HiSTEP) student. Facing the student, to Dr. Sencer’s right, stands Chief of CDC’s Laboratory Branch, U. Pentti Kokko, MD, DrPH, FAPHA; on the far right stands CDC parasitologist Dr. Marion Murphy Brooke. This event took place at the CDC’s Roybal Campus headquarters in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia.
