This historic photograph, captured on August 10, 1964, provides a southeasterly view of construction underway at the Communicable Disease Center (CDC) headquarters campus on Clifton Road in Atlanta, Georgia. The photograph documents construction of Addition F, which would house warehouse and industrial shop facilities. Foundation walls, reinforcing steel, construction materials, and extensive site grading are visible as the new facilities began to take shape.
