This historic photograph, captured on September 10, 1964, provides a view of construction underway at the Communicable Disease Center (CDC) headquarters campus on Clifton Road in Atlanta, Georgia. This view shows the developing construction of Addition C, which would house the CDC auditorium and adjoining classrooms. Concrete foundation walls are already in place, while workers, reinforcing steel, formwork, and construction materials document the continuing development of the addition.
