This historic photograph, captured on September 10, 1964, provides a view of construction underway at the Communicable Disease Center (CDC) headquarters campus on Clifton Road in Atlanta, Georgia. The photograph documents the developing structural framework of Addition F, which would house warehouse and industrial shop facilities. Concrete foundations and floor slabs are in place, while newly erected structural steel framing, stacked masonry units, reinforcing materials, and construction equipment illustrate the continuing expansion of the facility.
