This historic photograph, captured on September 10, 1964, provides a southward view of construction underway at the Communicable Disease Center (CDC) headquarters campus on Clifton Road in Atlanta, Georgia. The photograph documents construction of Addition H to the CDC Power House. Concrete foundation walls and structural columns are already in place, while extensive formwork and scaffolding support construction of the elevated concrete floor and roof structure connecting the addition to the existing facility.
