This photograph depicts the vaginal introitus of a female patient with an ulcerative lesion involving the posterior vaginal vestibule. Following differential diagnostic evaluation, the lesion was diagnosed as granuloma inguinale, also known as donovanosis, a bacterial infection caused by Klebsiella granulomatis, formerly classified as Calymmatobacterium granulomatis.
