This historic photograph depicted four Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) personnel, who were participating in a training course, focused on using improvisation for training aids. These staffers were implementing diagrammatic techniques, while creating vector-borne disease teaching aids. Now referred to as infographics, these teaching tools are still a very important method used to promote public health disease awareness and prevention.
