Under a high magnification of 20123X, this 2004 scanning electron microscopic (SEM) image reveals some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by a number of Gram-negative, Campylobacter jejuni bacteria. At this magnification, you are able to see the polar flagellum emanating from the bacterium in the center.
