Caption:
This image depicts a close view of a patient’s genitalia, revealing the presence of a penile tumor diagnosed as giant condyloma of Buschke and Löwenstein (GCBL). Though cancerous, GCBL is seldom metastatic. It is most commonly found originating on the glans penis, but may be found on other perineal surfaces, including the anorectal, and vulvovaginal mucosae. Though the etiology is unknown, a viral cause is highly suspect, and may include human papilloma virus, the cause of condylomata.
