This 1971 photograph was taken at Brooks Air Force Base, near San Antonio, Texas. The occasion was a meeting of aerospace physicians on May 14, 1976, and was located at the site of the present-day, USAF School of Aerospace Medicine. The seated participants (left to right) were Col. Werner J. Twrsnick, West Germany; Col. Paul Hansen, USA; Dr. David J. Sencer, Director, CDC; Col. Chun Ming Liu, Republic of China. Standing (left to right) was A.E. Najjar, Chief, Office of International Services, CDC; Captain Toshio Nomura, Japan; Lt. Col. M. A. Munirtur, Pakistan; Jean Sporborg; Lt. Col. Horst W.
