Speaking at a town hall meeting on behalf of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), this woman was in the process of educating attendees. The purpose of these meetings is to collect community concerns, and share health messages about local environmental issues.

Presentations such as the one being offered here by this health educator, or health assessor, are usually followed by audience participation through question/answer, and breakout sessions. These sessions educate the listeners to the effects of site-specific exposures, how people are exposed, and for how long they were exposed, also referred to as the exposure dose.
