Depicted in this photograph was the plantar surface of the toes on a patient’s right foot, revealing a lesion on the right great toe, which was determined to be due to a species of the fungal genus, Geotrichum. See PHIL 12665, for a view of the same patient’s left foot, again, from the plantar perspective, also revealing the same Geotrichum infection on that foot as well.
