Created by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) microbiologist, Dr. Fredrick Murphy, this thin section transmission electron microscopic (TEM) image revealed some of the ultrastructural morphologic features displayed by the Ebola virus, which had been cultivated using a 3d culture method.
