This historic 1969 image shows a half-submerged truck in the Gambia River. At the time, this vehicle was being used by the Smallpox Eradication and Measles Control teams in that region. The data accompanying this image stated that the truck had come to this harbor in order to collect supplies, and for an unknown reason, ended up in the river.
