This image depicts a woman in her kitchen, as she was preparing fresh vegetables for her meal. At this point in the preparation process, she was cutting a purple onion atop a cleaned cutting board. Also on the cutting board were washed carrots, next in line to be cut into small pieces. It is very important to prepare foods in as clean an environment as possible, thereby, minimizing the introduction of foodborne contaminants into the food preparation process.
