The man pictured here, had parked his automobile, and had assembled his collapsible wheelchair, which he had placed outside the vehicle. Having attached the chair’s rear wheels, he was now making some last minute adjustments, including securing the braking system, prior to switching his position from the vehicle to the chair. Note that in PHIL 13919, this car was equipped with a steering wheel located, manual braking and acceleration knob. See PHIL 13919 through 13931, to see how this process played out, ending with the complete assemblage of the chair, and this man maneuvering himself comfortably into its seat.
